Take a look into the 67th Cannes Film Festival with Brand Revolution. From some TLC with ghd, a glamorous backgammon tournament with Pamela Anderson and Dame Vivienne Westwood to sipping cocktails with R-Patz – here’s what we got up to…
ghd Pop-up Style Bar at Nikki Beach
Oh did we have a good hair day every day in Cannes, thanks to the stylists at ghd! The beloved hair brand made a star appearance at Cannes with an exclusive pop-up style bar within Nikki Beach which was produced by Brand Revolution. The ghd stylists created red carpet looks for Nikki Beach guests, VIPs and talent with a how-to video released each day. It proved to be the perfect pit-stop when we needed a style refresh, and their team had us looking red-carpet ready using the iconic ghd eclipse styler.
The Pamela Anderson Foundation Launch at La Gold Plage
Pamela Anderson, Dame Vivienne Westwood and a charity backgammon tournament on the beach. It has to be said it was a bizarre yet ingenious concept that lead to one of the most talked about events at the 67th Cannes Film Festival. The event was of course the official launch of The Pamela Anderson Foundation at which Pamela delivered one of the bravest speeches in her career explaining why she is so passionate to support organisations and individuals on the frontline of human rights, animal rights and environmental protection.
The intimate event raised in excess of $150,000 for non-profit organization Cool Earth and the forthcoming climate crisis feature documentary THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING.
“The Rover” Film Premiere Pre Screening Cocktail Party at La Gold Plage
Starring Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson, “The Rover” premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday 28th May 2014. In celebration, Film Nation with Brand Revolution brought together the cast and crew with industry peers for a luxurious cocktail and dinner reception supported by Chivas Regal 25 and American Express.
The Film Fraternity
But of course that is not all we were up to.. With our latest venture The Film Fraternity in full swing, we partnered with American Express again to host Deadline Hollywood’s ‘Cocktails on the Croisette’ at the luxurious La Gold Plage. The event drew a star studded crowd including Adrian Grenier, Kit Harrington, Ron Perlman, Ned Benson and Maika Monroe.
The Film Fraternity also hosted an intimate cocktail party in conjunction with Cargo Entertainment in honour of Mickey Rourke and the filmmakers of “Irish Thunder.”
